Abstract/Summary:
Potato is one of the economy crops, as grain or vegetable, in China as in the world, and it is also a kind of important material in Stockbreeding, Delicatessen process, Medical treatment and so on. Its planting area of China is the third in the world, merely inferior to that of Russia and Poland. But the yield per unit of area is under the average of the world,and the total turnout is the fourth. The planting areas of potato are increasing based on stabilization along with the adjustment of industrial structure and implement of industrial road in agriculture.Performance analysis and parameter optimum must be done because the low efficiency restricted the development of potato harvest.Potato harvesting includes two parts:digging and sieving. The sieving is the important process during the course. The working performance of the elevator chain has important influence on the harvest. The sieving rate and damaged rate depend on it. Also the sift does the same effect. This paper studied the potato harvesting methods and technical theories of mechanization; moreover, it indicated difficult problems and keys on mechanization of potato sieving and advanced new ideas to design the potato siever. With the analyse of dynamics and kinematics of the chain elevator, we know that the instantaneous speed and transmission ratio change periodically as the polyon domino effect, although the initiative chain rotate in even speed. The load on the elevator is related with the obliquitous angle, rotate speed, distance between the poles and so on. The bigger the obliquitous angle is, the bigger the acceleration plumbing the advancing direction is, and the bigger the dithering extent is. Also the rotate speed is great, the casting height of the object is great, and the object is hurt more easy. During the course of the analyse, the paper also established the calculating model to design sieving components by Visual Basic. By the ideas and methods of designing new components through CAA, the value bound of parameter is decided and movement analysis, parameter optimum and performance analysis were done in order to enhance the sieving rate and depress the damaged rate. The asway siever behind the chain elevator is also analysed. It has resolved the problems such as complication of components design, multitude and triviality of parameter calculation and the influence from the climate, soil quality and planting habit during the experiments By CAA.
