| The study analyzed the rice ecosystem of Yongzhou city. The particular data of the main local cropping patterns of rice paddy was gathered extensively by the statistical data, field investigation and questionnaire survey. On the bases, fourteen kinds of representative cropping patterns of rice paddy in Yongzhou city were comparatively evaluated by use of ecosystem method. The main results were as follows:1. Thirteen kinds of suitable sustainable extensive cropping patterns of rice paddy in Yongzhou city were flue-cured tobacco-late rice, maize- late rice, early rice-chufa, potato-late rice, watermelon- late rice, peanut- late rice, soybean- late rice, lily-late rice, eggplant-late rice, rice- forage grass-goose, early rice- late rice-garlic, early rice- late rice-flax, sweet potato in rice paddy.2. The thoughts of 'scientific programming, brilliance featue, large scale layout, producing of base, operation of industry' were followed. According to regional types of different cropping patterns of rice paddy in mountainous region, hill and basin, outskirts of a city, and industrial overall arrangement on the dncture of high quality rice, high quality flue-cured tobacco, high quality social effects of unpollution, the regional layouts on the high-yielding and high-efficient cropping patterns of rice paddy in Yongzhou city were renewed and trussed.3. Thinking in systemic way, optimizing the inside structure and aggrandizing integer function in the high-yielding and high-efficient cropping patterns of rice paddy in Yongzhou city, the cultivation techniques regulations qualified and integrated on the high-yielding and high-efficient cropping patterns of rice paddy in Yongzhou city were preliminary studied.4.
