To protect rice seedlings against various environmental stresses and increase the growth and development of the plant, VB1 and La3+ were applied to the seedlings at the stage of 6 leaves. As a result, the seedlings grew vigorously and set up a good basis for the terminal good harvest.The results showed that there was an additive effect by mixture of VB1 and La3+, VB[ and La3+ had remarkable co-effect on increasing the growth of rice seedlings. Treated with 4g/L of the mixture of VB1 and La 3+, satisfactory effect could de obtained. After 7 days of treatment, Root vigor and IAA content in roots were increased 19.6% and 72.5% respectively. The contents of chlorophyll in the young leaves, activities of SOD, PAL and POD were increased 42.5%, 34.5%,51.7% and 29.6% above CK respectively.The tolerance of rice seedlings to stresses and the herbicide in the soil was enhanced by application of VB1 AND La3+. In addition, VB1 and La3+ could promote the resistance of rice seedlings against rice blast, after 5 days and 10 days, the reduced-resistance indexes were 63.2% and 57.9% respectively. Taken together, the co-effect of VB1 and La3+ was very obvious on increasing rice growth and yield. |
