Taking the 3-4 years clone seedling of red Toona sinensis as experiment materials, using compound orthogonal design, the effect of different proportion, treating time, treating position of gibberellic acid (GA3), 6-benzylaminopurein (BA), thioureaC. P((NH2)2CS), zincsulphate(ZnSO4), sa!tpeter(KNO3) and picking means on the bud dormancy-breaking , Mean output and quality of Toona sinensis were studied. The effective methods for breaking the bud dormancy , increasing Mean output and quality of the species were also deplored. The results are summarized as follow:â… . Effect of different treating on bud dormancy-breaking: The best method to break the bud dormancy is treating in Dec. 15 and treating on top bud and the 20cm of side bud with 6-BA (140 mg/LH GA3( 140 mg/L)+(NH2)2CS(0.8%)+ ZnSO4( 1%)+ KNO3(4%).Shedding plastic greenhouse could force bud opening of Toona sinensis about 24 days earlier.â…¡. Effect of different treating on the Mean output young leaves: Reagent is the most major factor to total Mean output of Toona sinensis. 6-BA (140mg/L) + GA3 (140mg/L) +(NH2)2CS (0.8%) + ZnSO4 (1 %) + KNO3 (4%), treating in Dec. 15 and no cutting stem after picking bud, which is the best method to increase total Mean output of Toona sinensis and economic value.â…¢. Effect of different treating on quality: Picking time is the principal that infect leaf quality. The leaves picking out at the beginning period better than that picking out late. . Treating time, treating position, the interaction of reagent and treating position are also the factor that infect quality of leaves of Toona sinensis. Reagent had no eminent effect on quality of Toona sinensis.
