| According to appearant quality,physical characteristic,chemicai components,smoking components and the result of smoking of flue-cured tobacco,drawing lessons from international and national appraisal standards to quality of flue-cuerd tobacco,using tobacco leaves came from different ecological regions in HeNan Province as trial material,we have established the appraisal system of tobacco leaves quality and appraised the tobacco leaves qualities of different ecological regions in HeNan Province.The results showed that the fresh tobacco leaves in Sanmenxia contained the highest starch but degraded the most completedly after curing.The Sanmenxia's amount of total sugar and reducing sugar and the carotenoid were greatly increased during the flue-curing which differently wrer 0.14%,0.14%,0.25% per hour.The degraded content of chlorophyll was mostly in Shangqiu's tobacco,which was 0.82 percent per hour.The appearant quality of Yunyan85 was the best and NC89 was better.Especially,the appearant quality of Xinyang's,Nanyang's,Sanmenxia's YunyanSS has reached or was approaching the standard of high-quality tobacco leaves.NC89's appearant quality was in middle level.In physical characteristic,Nanyang's and Sanmenxia's leaves were obviously bigger than other regions's,whose length was more than 60cm.The average length ,width,thickness were differently 54.9cm,24.9cm and 0.118mm.The thickness of Nanyang leaves was thicker than others.moer than 0.13mm.The weight pre-square measure of Shangqiu leaves was lower than others andthe average was 73.59 g m"2 .The stem contained of Xinyang's and Nanyang's Yunyan85 was higher than others and the average was 30.72%.The weight of single leaf of Shangqiu leaves was less than 8g while that of Nanyang's and Sanmenxia's Yunyan85 was more than 12g and the average was 9.83g.The analysis to the chemical components of the different regions tobacco leaves after flue-cured showed that the average total nitrogen was 1.76%,nearing the national average level( 1.69%),but changed from 1.51% to 2.25%. The average nicotine was 2.69%,which higher than the national average level(2.35%).The average reducing sugar was 18.54%,lower than he national average level(21.25%). The average starch content was 5.27%,higher than the standard of the high-quality leaves.Sanmenxia's reducing sugar/nicotine was suitable. Total nitrogen/nicotine was averagely 0.68.The average chlorophyll was 13.27 mg -100g-1,changed frome 6.6 to 15.52 mg-100g-1. The average carotenoid was 25.57 mg 100g-1,changed frome 16.87 to 30.54 mg -100g "' while Nanyang's and Sanmenxia's NC89 leaves were more than 30 mg *100g~'. The average content of protein,amino acid,K+,Cl" were differently 7.84%, 14.94 mg ?g"In the component of smoke,the tar was less than 17mg each branch,besides the Nanyang's NC89. The average content of tar,total particular matter,smoke nicotine,CO were differently 14.78 mg,21.07 mg,2.03 mg,12.7 mg.The water content of Nanyang YunyanSS was higher(6.07 mg) while that of Xuchang NC89 was lower(2 mg).Tar/nicotine was from 6.19 to 10.The result of smoking showed that the flavor quality and the flavor amount of the tobacco leaves were commonly lower.The density,strength and irritancy were less difference.The smoking score of the Nanyang's YunyanSS and Xinyang NC89 was the highest.The average score was 74.19cent.The highest score of the quality co-efficient of chemicai components, smoking components,physical characteristic,appearant quality were differently Sanmenxia NC89,Sanmenxia Yunyan85,Nanyang NC89,Xinyang YunyanSS.Xinyang NC89 and Nanyang Yunyan85 were the highest score of the quality co-efficient of the result of smoking.Sanmenxia's total quality co-efficient was the highest while Shangqiu was the loeset and the average was 73.27cent.In the seeds of tobacco,the YunyanSS was the best.NC89 was the second.K326 was the third.In the different ecological regions,the quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves that were from the best to the baddest in turn were Sanmenxia,Xinyang,Xuchang,Nanyang and Shangqiu. |
