Stadies On The Change Of Digestive Enzymatic Activities Of Small Intestine In Lamb

Abstract/Summary:
Digestive enzymes in different part of small intestine have important effect on digestive and absorption of nutritional matter in small intestine in lamb. Studies indicated activities of digestive enzyme changed with age% different part of small intestine, ph and content of diet, Chose small tailed han sheep for experiment, on day1,15 month 1,2,3, 4 sheeps were killed .determined the weight and length of some orgnise, digesta ph .activities of amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, lipase in different part of small intestine were measured. The result indicated that: (1) There were different digesta ph in different part of small intestine. Digestia ph in ileum were significantly higher than those in jejunum. Digesta ph in jejunum were significantly higher than those in duodenum. Digesta in duodenum had the characteristic of weak acid. Digesta in jejunum and ileum had the characteristic of weak base. After the age of one month, digesta ph in small intestine had no big change, digesta ph in small intestine were not significantly effected by the age (P>0.05). (2) Amylase activities in different part of small intestine were different. Amylase activities in jejunum were significantly higher than those in duodenum and ileum (P<0.01), there has no significantly different between duodenum and ileum. The amylase activities of small intestine content had relation to the age of lamb, increased with the age of lamb. Amylase activities in small intestine had significant curve relation to the age of lamb. (3) Lactase activities in different part of small intestine were different. Lactase activities in jejunum were significantly higher than those in duodenum and ileum. Activities in duodenum were significantly higher than those in ileum (P<0.01) Lactase activities in duodenum were significantly higher than those in ileum (P<0.05) .The lactase activities of small intestine content had relation to the age of lamb, decreased with the ageof lamb. Lactase activities in small intestine had significant curve relation to the age of lamb. (4) Trypsin activities and chymytropsin activities in different part of small intestine had same change, trypsin and chymytropsin activities in jejunum were significantly higher than those in duodenum and ileum. The trypsin and chymytropsin activities of small intestine content had relation to the age of lamb, increased with the age of lamb. Trypsin and chymytropsin activities in small intestine had significant curve relation to the age of lamb. (5) Lipase activities in different part of small intestine were different. Lipase activities in jejunum were significantly higher than those in duodenum and ileum. Lipase activities in ileum were significantly higher than those in duodenum (P<0.05) .The lipase activities of small intestine content had relation to the age of lamb, increased with the age of lamb. Lipase activities in small intestine had significant curve relation to the age of lamb.
