On the basic of exploration of wild primrose resources in Sichuan province, studies are carried out on introduction and cultivation of Primula pulverulenta.Major results about the studies are as follows:The temperature and humidity are critical to the development of P. pulverulenta .Some propriety measures should be taken on the biological peculiarity and ecological habit of P.pulverulenta while cultivating. The characteristic of the seeds is: low germinated coefficient (<30%)and long germinated time(nearly 60 days). So it is beneficial to choose suitable temperature and GA3 concentration while not to earth up the seeds. The appropriate temperature to the photosynthesis of P. pulverulenta is in the extent of soil temperatuer with 15 20 and air temperature with 20 25 . The photosynthetic rate is the highest when the temperature is corresponding.P, pulverulenta demands on different water during it's development.Studies on water contention of the root discovered the requirement . The stomatal conductivity is in relation to soil temperatuer and air temperature.Using GA3 can promote the development of P.pulverulenta., cause obvious impact to the growth of leave and stimulate the formation of the axillary bud.
