The study analysed the non-genetic factors influencing Main traits of Inner Mongolian cashmere goats, using anamil models by multiple trait derivative-free restricted maximum likelihood to select different models and estimate variance components and genetic parameters. The results indicated that birth or trait expression years, age or age of dam and herd had significant effect on almost all traits.Sex had on effect on cashmere finess, but had significant effect on any of other traits.Birth type had no effect on cashmere trait, but had significent efffect on these early growing traits:birth weight, weaning litter weight, average daily gain.We found that model(3) was fit to estimate cashmere trait,model(8) was fit to estimate birth weight and weaning litter weight,model(7) was fit to estimate average daily gain,model(5) was fit to estimate one-age weight. The results of genetic parameters indicated that the heritability estimates of cashmere yield(CY),body weight(BW),cashmere thickness(CT),staple length(SL), cashmere fmeness(CF), cashmere stretched length(CSL),birth weight(BWT), weaning litter weight(WLWT),average daily gain(ADG), one-age weight (OAW) were 0.3(K O.IK 0.2K 0.3 K 0.28> 0.2K 0.2K 0.11 > 0.14 and 0.17, respectively. Genetic correlations between CL and CY(0.26),CL and CT(0.91),CL and SL(0.26),CT and CY(0.38),CT and CF(0.28), OAW and BWT(0.37), OAW and WLWT(0.65), OAW and ADG(0.82), ADG and WLWT(0.93),BW and CY(-0.1'3),BW and CT(-0.22),BW and SL(-0.12),BW and CF(-0.11),BW and CSL(-0.24),CY and SL(-0.23),CF and CSL(-0.02).
