| Grading screen for pellet feed, a screening machine to classify the size of pellet feed, is widely used in animal husbandry. Users choose appropriate equipment with the basis of technical index. Existing traditional testing methods are used to examine grading screen technology, resulting in insufficiency as large randomness of data and human factors. Testing technology for screen was investigated to define the index of the screen and the test methods was normalized. Virtual instrument technology was applied in the screen test and the test system was designed based on LabVIEW, offering technical support for promotion of industrial standard and improvement of design. The following aspects were mainly studied.First were research and establishment of sizing screen’s performance index and testing methods. Main indexes were summarized according to the operating principal, with testing methods for each index analyzed.Secondly, testing system based on virtual instruments was designed. The hardware platform was determined to consist of three aspects including signal collecting, signal and data processing. After analyzing and comparing parameters of the testing project, transducers combined with hardware platform compose the entire hardware part were chosen.The software part of the system was developed and tested by LabVIEW. Modular design was employed in the system, containing functions of data sampling, storage, processing, analysis and display. Function expansion and vibration analysis module were considered meanwhile as reference to equipment’s improvement.Next, the examination of the developed test system was established. The satisfaction of the expectation was verified and the stability, simplicity, universality and expansibility was confirmed by the analysis of measurement. The experiment of vibration test on the product was carried out, which verifies the feasibility of the test method.Finally, the test sieve machine required for sifting ratio examination based on the pellet feed industry standard was designed.3D-model was built by Solid works and imported to ADAMS. Constraints were added and parameters were set for simulation. According to simulation results, various optimization plans for design deficiency were investigated and analyzed until the final construction was adopted. |
