Research On The Control Of Urban Design Elements For Dongyang Waterfront, Beibei, Chongqing

With the social-economic development and the growth of urban land use, the core elements of the city which included urban form and the space environment have experienced a complicated separation trend. As a special and important district in the urban city constructions, the waterfront contains more complex elements. And then it put forward higher requirements to urban design.Chongqing is the key city of our country northwest area, it lies in the junction districts of the Changjiang river and Jialingjiang river. And it is also named mountains-and-waters city .So the waterfront in the city is becoming a the hot spot region of city development. Beibei cluster located at north of Chongqing, is a relatively independent city region. Facing the pressure of demanding and challenge of city characteristic, ecological environment, resources short of Dongyang waterfront, we must make a good use of the theory and method of urban design to enhance the urban environment quality.This article take the content of the key elements of Dongyang waterfront urban design as the object.
