Study On Renewal Strategies Of Old Tiexi Industrial Area In Shenyang

The Old Tiexi Industrial Area in Shenyang used to be one of the most important comprehensive industial bases in our country,and it had made a significant contribution to the industrial development and economic construction of our country.At the end of 20th century,owning to the reforming and restructuring of China's state-owned institutions,Tiexi Industrial Areas stepped into decadence from resplendency.At the beginning of the 21st centry,with the impact of the national policy of revitelizing the Northeast Old Industrial Bases,entire updating and reforming was conducted in the Old Tiexi Industrial Areas.It just took the Old Tiexi Industrial Areas a few years to change rapidly and dramatically through obtaining space source by land transferring.Meanwhile,Tiexi Industrial Area had a fundamental change in the successful transformation of economy.Otherwise, the destruction of a large number of industrial heritage trully occurred at the instant of history, which citizens had inadequate thinking and measuring due to the much too fast update rate.During the update process, the simplicity of the habitants that had took years to formed ,and the city cultural environment which was filled with a strong sense of industry was getting weak daily, and also the true concept of Tiexi Industrial Area disappeared gradually in history,because of excessive emphasis on the policy of taking the economic construction as the central affair of the country, ignorance of the main part of the update—the real requiry of Tiexi residents.As a starting point for this,the author of the thesis is to explore an effective way to the update of the Old Tiexi Industrial Areas aiming at three aspects:regional environment, urban space and cultural characteristics, which maintain several views ,like society, history, city, landscape and architecture,and etc.On the basis of practical understanding of problems as poor living environment quality, indifferent neighbor relationship,simple city life and things like that,the auther proposes theory of forming humanism environment to rest on and specific method to operate in three aspects,and they are:improving the living envronment,passing on the living pattern,and enhancing the mix of neighborhood function.The auther is to explore the old industrial constructure of Tiexi and methods of updating space on the scale of a whole area in city. Being directly focused on the problem that close area construction, the thesis is to realize combination of inside and outside of area, by the means of linking the inside and outside traffic as well as activating the edge space.And for the form characters in space of area,it is through shaping the dominated space or central fields to reach the goal of enriching space style in city.The industrial culture,the cultural character of the Old Tiexi Industrial Area,is confronted with the difficulty of passing on.For one thing,the article focuses on historical space,industrial landscape and old industrial architecture as a carrier of passing on the industriall culture.For another, it proposes the combination pattern of conservation and development,and also provides theoretical guarantee and practical basis for the heritage of the industrial culture.The article systematically arranges and concludes factors,such as environmental quality,life style,spatial forms,industrial culture and so on.,and suggests a viable solution as well. Despite the guiding construction it obtains of updating practice in the Old Tiexi Industrial Area,the article enriches theoretical conclusions on the aspect at the same time.
