Rightnow, Hefei is developing rapidly , within another critical period. With the rapid rise of the Yangtze River Delta, the establishment and gradual westward gradient of the Yangtze River economic belt, Constructing Wanjiang City Strip to Undertake the Demonstration District of Industrial Transfer, Urban development is facing opportunities as never before. Hefei will also require more space in the future, thus an orderly evolution of urban spatial morphology is facing severe challenges. Clarify the characteristics of Hefei urban spatial patterns and historical trend, then,it will help to improve Hefei city image and function .In view of this, the thesis selects Hefei, Anhui Province as a case. In the perspective of urban spatial exploitation, the thesis tries not only to analyze the developing track in each period of Hefei morphological evolution, but also to summarize the historical characteristics of urban morphological evolution.Furthermore, it goes deep into revealing the potential relationship between the urban morphological evolution and the development of the Political, economic, social and cultural of the city. On that basis, the thesis discusses the development, regulation and optimization of Hefei's future urban morphology, so that to provide a reference for today's urban construction of the city and to promote the city towards a sustainable morphology.The world Pattem changes quickly and urban construction changes with each Passing day. It contains many contents, we can't expound one by one. Deficiency in this thesis, please point out them so that they can be corrected. In this way, the dissertation enriches the research cases of urban morphology, and provides both empirical and theoretical value for the research of Hefei city and also other rapid developing cities.
