The Design For Urban House On Aging In Place

China has quickly entered the aging society, and the problems caused by aging, will become increasingly significant,from the point of view of traditional morality, the family is the main pension place.Therefore,how to establish and develop a sound, adapting old residential building system to our country is a difficult problem to be solved to our architect.The purpose of this paper is through the relevant physiological, psychological,sociological factors to conclude the urban residential design strategies and trends on aging in place with domestic social and economic conditions.At first, several models of providing for the aged were given. Through comparative and analysis,the basis of family support is the pension, and the family is the main place for retirement.Then the author analysis the need of the elderly for housing from the social point of view of the psycho-physical,and explained providing for the aged on the home design of urban housing request,then combining the above two points are summarized.In chapter three,the author make a survey based on the existing housing which elderly people living in and the new housing for the elderly and their families living in perking,then make a evaluation on the living system and environment,and the result was drew with the corresponding requirements given above.The author gives the countermeasure to the deficiencies given above.The countermeasures include improved support system, implementation of the old house to transform and implement the sustainable development of residential design.At the last chapter, the author describes the development trend of senior housing in our country. First of all,it is very important to establish the century housing system and universal housing system.At last,the concept of public participate in the architecture design is mentioned.We cannot imagine a architect lack of observation of the elderly can design a fine senior housing.Someone even say that the one who can design a fine senior housing must be an old man. The general idea of this thesis is to give some proposals on improve the elderly living environment through the research on urban house design of aging in place.
