The Research And Practice Of Urban Color-Planning In Changsha

Changsha is located in the middle of Hunan Province, which the Xiangjiang River flows through the city. The city showed a pattern of cross-strait development in accordance with the Xiangjiang River. In the urban areas there are many tourist attractions such as Yuelu Moutain. Changsha is also one of China's historical and cultural cities. With the pace of development and construction speed up, Changsha City'appearance changed every day, the urban landscape color became more diverse, but because of past research on urban planning and control of color is not enough, resulting in Changsha city color chaotic situation. The main problems can be manifested in in several aspects:the color tone of the building is not uniform, urban color is confusion; some polluted color vision; urban color is not symbolically and so on. Therefore, the research and planning in the city of Changsha for city color is essential.This paper analyzes the concept of "City Colors", and clarify the city-color's main function is to display characteristics of urban areas and place functions. Then the article analyzes the common problems of urban color and the difficult of urban color planning. The color of a city's buildings is the most substantial part of the city color, which is the specific area of cultural development within the context of the most representative visual communication, and it is also the color form which urban population will face every day. The chapter 3 introduces the theories of urban color which comprehensive use of planning, architecture, color science and other subject content, summed up the basic elements of urban color planning system and its structure,elaborated the color localization principle and the zone control principle and so on. At last it reflected in the color management and evaluation.This paper attempts to put the theory for the city color planning of Changsha into practice, and to establish a method about regional color and architectural color analysis and give some guidance and design strategies to urban color planning. Through research, we give some proposals:the overall color characteristic of Changsha is elegant and bright warm. We also give some general principles such as follows the urban color should be harmonious, rich and orderly principles.It is also for urban planning and management of Changsha who can establish a system of evaluation, scientific and practical basis for the guidance of the program. It has a certain practical significance about further research and practice of the domestic urban Color planning.
