In recent years, with the development of bridge construction, there are great impacts on the traditional bridge design ideas and methods to a certain extent,it also promotes the further development of bridge structure analysis theory.At present,the optimization design research of bridge structure already became a current hot spot of the bridge field,especially the inverse analysis theory on bridge structure.It has great engineering significance to determine the reasonable finished state of bridge,and it has practical meaning to apply and study the inversion optimization theory to this status,it will also give a certain reference value to the research of inversion optimization theory in the other bridge construction.For the above problems, based on the achievements of its predecessor,this article makes the inverse optimization analysis with MIDAS.CIVIL in determining suspension member tension which is at the reasonable finished state of tied arch bridge.The main content as follows:1. This paper reviews and sums up the application of optimization analysis algorithm to bridge structure,it also surveys the development of inverse problems in engineering field briefly,meanwhile, the present situation of research for reasonable dead state in bridge structure is stated, Optimization theory methods and optimization algorithm which is used in engineering commonly are summarized in their entirety.2. Based on the theory of optimum algorithm,the basic system of inverse anlysis and optimal design about bridge structure is builded up and realized using MIDAS/CIVIL and Matlab.3. In this paper,general situation and mechanics performance features of bowstring arch bridge are summarized,various methods to determine the suspension member tension which is at the reasonable finished state of tied arch bridge are stated.4. To make a bridge project as background, firstly, a forward modeling about this bridge is builded and the static calculation analysis on it is took systematically with MIDAS/CIVIL, then it establishes mathematical optimization model for inverse analysis and chooses different objective function to form two optimization scheme, finally,combining the value which is worked out using rigid suspenders method with results of the two optimization scheme, this paper compares the results of optimize inverse analysis to verify the accuracy and rationality of this analysis.
