With the work of Lanzhou declaration national-level historical and cultural city ongoing,Hekou village with its better-preserved traditional houses and historical patterns, has been chosen as a historical conservation area to be protected and utilization.Hekou village was originally called Zhuanghe Fort, located in Xigu district,Lanzhou, at the junction of Zhuanglang River and the Yellow River.
