Double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam is being used more and more widely in constructions of passenger dedicated railway and express highway bridge. Therefore its characteristics of statics and stability are important for transportation safety. Reliable design of the mould for the double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam is the base for rapid producing the related box beam, whose construction's reliability and safety and satisfaction with deformation is the premise for safe usage of produced box beam. Consequently, one kind of mould for double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam is designed and its stress analysis is made, as follows:(1)Structural design of the mould for double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam. The designed mould consists of the hydraulic outer mould components such as the outer mould, the end mould, traversing bank of the inner mould, traversing bank of the outer mould, track of the outer mould, together with the hydraulic inner mould. The hydraulic inner mould is controlled utterly by hydraulic pressure and mould release is completed automatically. The hydraulic inner mould has the advantages of accuracy and rapid assembly and stiff construction. Similarly, the hydraulic outer mould has the features of high automatic level and easy demould. The hydraulic is designed for convenient movement, storage and arrangement of box beam, and also make the beam cavity out of the inner mould track easily.(2) The main parameters of the designed mould for double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam is calculated and the operation procedure of the hydraulic inner mould is designed. Besides, the assemble, adjustment and test of the mould is determined together with the procedure of the debugging, operation and usage designing.According to those, the box beam mould can be produced and the box beam can be prefabricated.(3)One kind of finite element software, MSC.Patran, is employed to build the model of the designed mould. And upon on it, the statics analysis of the inner and outer mould and stability analysis as well as the deformation state of the components when assembling are conducted. The results show that the designed mould is safe for applications and no structural problems are found.It comes to conclusions that the designed mould can be directly used to prefabricate the double-line prestressed simply-supported box beam rapidly and safely, which is propitious to elevate the efficiency of the construction of railway and express highway bridge and ensure the quality of the project.
