In the modern highway traffic operation department and administration section for example toll station,monitoring center,tunnel and in other military use or civilian use facilities,fire alarming system has became an indispensable facility. Using advanced technological means to improve fire alarming system and facilities has significant social meaning and broad prospects. Opto-electronic smoke detector with the following strong points:high degree of accuracy,long life time,low cost, easy installation method and wide suitable will become main flow of fire alarming detector.This paper based on great amount of experiments and researches, designed an opto-electronic smoke detector warner and got a good result.The work made on the following aspects:First,designed a smoke detector based on a Ir-reflect opto-electronic detect solution.Second,made many practical experiments and testings to inspect the Ir-transduce circuit.Third,chosen MSP430 series low power consumption chip as detector's microcontroller,designed a information processing system for the smoke detector,designed and debugger the information processing system and the microcontroller. Forth,took full advantage of microcontroller's resources,designed AD trans circuit and advanced I2C system bus,reduced the volume and power consumption of system,improved system performance.
