Study And Analysis On Traffic Environment In Freeway Tunnels

In order to shorten length, Lower slope, Improve the traffic environment, there are more and more tunnels in freeway construction. Meanwhile, the safety of tunnel operator is more and more important. Currently,the study and application is just started on analysis and evaluation of the tunnel traffic operating environment of the freeway. Also there is not the complete system of analysis and evaluation. Especially we are short of research on the Operating environment of freeway Tunnels.This paper carries on an in-depth study on the the operating environment of freeway Tunnels. On the.base of analysis the development of freeway tunnels in china, the article explains the inevitability of the freeway tunnels and the safety problems attendantly.The contents of research include the definition of the tunnels, analysis of the characteristics of solar flare and traffic characteristics, study of the hazardous locations, the evaluation of traffic operating environment, the measurements to improve the operating environment and so on.View of the study group at the initial stage of the tunnels, the tunnels has not yet formed a clear definition, the paper defined the tunnel group were analyzed, presented the relative distance between the tunnel and the concept of dynamic threshold, and operating environment on the transport system were studied to establish a tunnels of proprietary operating environment system.Starting from the tunnels characteristics, sunlight glare on the driver properties, characteristics of the tunnels transportation facilities, traffic flow characteristics, environmental characteristics within the tunnels, five aspects of the dynamic factors of traffic running on the tunnels conducted a comprehensive analysis of the environment, scienceprovide the appropriate basis for assessment.In the operating environment based on the analysis, according to tunnels operating environment, traffic characteristics, establish evaluation index system, and select the AHP to determine the weight of each index, application-level analysis, based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the status of operating environment. The evaluation conclusions are divided into three levels:Green Tunnel(The evaluation value is between 80-100),Yellow Tunnel(The evaluation value is between 60～80),Red Tunnel(The evaluation value is between 0～60).By running the environmental assessment, the polarization of the current operating environment is clear. And then the improvements are proposed contrarily.The measures mainly include Intelligent coordinated control,Advanced operational facilities and management technology.According to theory, to Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway in Shaoguan section of the tunnels of case study, by group of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway in Shaoguan section of the tunnel the traffic situation analysis of operating environment, and the analysis based on the evaluation system proposed in this paper evaluated conclusions made based on the evaluation of targeted improvement measures.
