The Beginning Exploration Of The Construction Strategy On Cultural In The Reformation Of Old Urban Residential Areas

With the promotion of the rapid development of urbanization and under the request of the construction of a conservation-oriented society, renovation of old residential areas has becoming more and more important in urban construction. Facing a huge number of residential areas built in 70's and 80's, the disadvantages of the large-scale urban regeneration is increasingly evident. At the same time, people are more aware that rationally reforming on the residential areas which still can basically meet the needs of the resident in terms of structure, function and emotion, has greater economic and social benefits. However, there are still many problems in the renovation of the old residential areas in our country currently, the work often focus only on the updates on material aspects, ignoring the overall culture of the old residential areas. In this context ,this article takes the residential areas which were built in 70's to 80's and do not require demolition or reconstruction when transforming as the research object, in perspectives of cultural studies, to explore its role and status on cultural inheritance. And based on the on site research and data analysis, the overall status and factors of the culture of old residential areas has been analyzed through the tangible and disassemble way, trying to give corresponding strategies with the purpose of culture enhancement in the process of residential areas transformation.The text is divided into six parts following the basic ideas of raising a problem, analyzing and solving the problem.Among them, the first chapter is an introduction, including a general discussion of the research background, significance, scope and perspective, the basic concept, the logical framework of the paper, the practice and research status on old residential transformation both in China and overseas.The second chapter gives a brief discussion on the living culture and urban culture of the old residential areas based on the understanding of the meaning of culture. Then the importance of culture in the old residential areas, the value and ideas on the protection of the old residential areas is explored. The way how culture and planning interacts each other has also been described in this chapter.The third chapter made the culture of old residential areas tangible in the perspectives of cultural studies, concluding three cultural vectors including "people", "matter" and "object", and detailed discussion on the status of each system is given in this chapter.The fourth chapter systematically refined the culture of old residential areas by the internal culture elements implied in the three vectors, "people", "matter" and " object ", subdivide them into six parts, which are the spirit culture, emotion culture, neighborhood culture, community culture, region culture and contemporary culture, and made corresponding analysis to the influence factors of various culture elements.The fifth chapter gives corresponding construction and development strategies based on previous research on the spirit culture, emotion culture, neighborhood culture, community culture, region culture and contemporary culture of the old residential areas.and try to apply the strategies in actual projectsThe sixth chapter is a summary and conclusion of the whole paper.
