| Radar and AIS(Automatic Identification System) are the two of key equipment to navigation for a ship. Radar is a kind of traditional navigation equipment.Radar can automatically detect and tack target, and get the whole traffic view of near waters. But less information is provided and the accuracy of radar is not high.Furthermore, radar is vulnerable to climate and its detection capability is severely affected. AIS is a new navigational aids and more and more widely used in a ship because of a forcible requirement of IMO(International Maritime Organization).More information is provided by AIS and the accuracy is higher than Radar. AIS is not easily affected by climate and terrain. But AIS is passively tracking target and the ships of non-forced fitted AIS can not be detected. Therefore, it is great worthy to fuse the targets to get to be mutual benefits so as to improve the accuracy and reliability of the target's information.The paper studies on the dynamic information fusion arithmetic of the targets from AIS and Radar.AIS and Radar messages are decoded after getting the two kinds of message by serial ports. After coordinate conversion of the target position information, T_D(Time and Distance) coarse target correlation judgment are adopted.Then the position information is extrapolated to get the space time unification. Multi-factor fuzzy integration decision-making is discussed in the fine fusion. The weighed statistic method of the information coalition is studied .The targets of AIS,Radar and the fusion are displayed on the ECDIS.The paper has done computer simulation by EXCEL and MATLAB. The result shows that the information fusion arithmetic is correct, the accuracy of fusion target information is improved and the fusion target's dynamic information is closer to AIS target information's.The implementation of fusion arithmetic is preliminaryily carried out based on ECDIS using Visual C++ development tools.The spot test shows that the arithmetic can resolve the problem of AIS and radar targets tracking correlation and the arithmetic is correct and feasible .The fusion arithmetic is easily carried out with practicality. |
