The Comparative Study On Design Process Between Chinese And Western Architecture Institution

With the rapid development of city construction in China and increasingly fierce internationalized competition, the topic is always focused on the future of Chinese architecture design and the way we architects develop. Facing the fact that the huge differences between domestic and foreign architects in architectural design, it gradually becomes an important research theme to analyze the designing theory aspect from a high level in order to raise the quality of architectural design and the international competitiveness of our own.Through case analysis method, in this paper it is tried to find out the different characteristics of design theory and method during different design processes, and by comparing and analyzing the differences between Chinese and Western design cases, it is hope that it could make some contribution to the native architectural design.It is clearly pointed in this thesis that wide range of differences exists in design process between the Chinese and Western Architecture Institution during the example comparison. In the whole process level, both of them show a common operational sheet, but there are some different treatments on the main stages, the depth of design development etc. In the stage of design comparison level, the architects of Chinese and of Western Architecture Institution tend to show various attentions to the relationship between material collection and concept formation, design key point etc. And after that, the paper also compares the two kinds of design processes in aspects of presentation form, material using, energy conservation and environmental protection.
