With the socio-economic and industrialization level rising, infrastructure projects of transportation and other fields are increasing, especially constructions of highway, high speed railway, urban subway and cross river tunnel, while the number of tunnel construction machinery and varieties rise at the same pace. However, due to the traditional and conventional engineering machine's maneuverability requirement, almost all take diesel engine as power source. These machines are working in the narrow sealed tunnel, diesel engine's exhaust emissions make their own intake conditions worse, and combustible incomplete, power down, resulting in fuel wasted and the driver long-term breathing of toxic emissions. Therefore, the research on the high-efficiency and environmentally-friendly engineering machines that can adapt to long-term tunnel construction, has become a top priority. Reference hybrid system mature application in the car, this paper analyses a dual powered system used in the construction machinery. The system has two power sources-diesel engine and motor, according to the different workplace, diesel engine and motor can work independently. When the machine worked for tunnel construction and city network power supply conditions, the motor can be used as a power source, achieve zero emission, while improve the tunnel construction environment and increase operational efficiency, and fully reflects the humanistic care.This paper analyzes the dual-power system connection mode in serials, parallel, and a split-type structure, according to their own characteristics, through comprehensive analysis, select separate series structure as a research object in this thesis. For motor structure is improved, in its internal settings overrunning clutch, diesel motor and motor are connected by overrunning clutch. When the diesel motor or motor works independently, overrunning clutch can realize double-power transmission. Loader for the prototype establishes a dual-power loader power transmission diagram, on all aspects of transmission system establish mathematical model, including diesel engine model, motor model, torque converter model, gear-box model, vehicle model. Finally in the SIMULINK environment built dual-power loader power transmission simulation system, the diesel engine or motor respectively to simulate the power source. Simulation of the entire work process for loader, simulation result show, compared with the diesel motor drive system, motor drive system can meet changes load in loader, greater overload. Work in the narrow space environment, the dual power system is propelled by the motor, not only to achieve the vehicle exhaust zero emissions, to protect the health of drivers and construction workers, moreover, from the perspective of energy saving, motor drive system has a great advantage, construction machinery future development of dual-power system provides a theoretical guidance.
