The Urban space is diverse in different regions of different natural features and cultural heritage. Regional study not only covers the area around the unique natural and geographical conditions, but also includes the process of social development in the region, people formed a unique way of life, behavior practices, thinking, values, etc.Regional cities with the View of the new space to bring people inspired.As the best display of cityscape, riverfront space is a natural and cultural resources the city has accumulated deep place,so it as a starting point of this study is representative on.In recent years, the riverside space planning and design with rapid development,however, space in public is not strong, resource utilization on riparian negative, reflect the lack of regional characteristics is a common problem with these spatial planning.Such planning is no living, more is not conducive to long-term development of urban space,therefore, based on regional urban riparian proposed public space planning is essential.lt should be from a new angle to think about regional issues,not to re-form some sort of style, but more performance as a creative idea and method.This articles coherence urban planning and design, geography, landscape ecology, behavior and other multi-disciplinary theory and method,study along the the logic of ontology - concept - way - practice",based on the urban planning discipline, study of the Regional Cultural Perspective and method into the field of urban planning discipline,construction of urban-based regional planning riverside public space structures and methods of basic research,with Xinxiang city For example,regional Perspective of public space in urban waterfront basic issues, law,planning and design.
