The Research Of Public Transportation Management And Route Network Planning

Urban public transport is an important foundation for the city, an indispensable basic industries of the city. Recent years, Xi'an had a rapid development of economic.the Vehicle population of the city grew fast. Resident travel demand has a substantial growth,while the efficiency and service of the public transport become worse and worse. On one hand,the lane net is the basic of the public transport,and is the key point of increasing the public transport service. On the other hand, the operating mode of the enterprise of public transport determines the development of public transport.That discarding the traditional mode of development and carrying out reforms will fundamentally improve the public transport service and the attraction. In this paper, the author focused on the public transport development and the lane net planning, made the following major aspects:First, the author described the development mode of domestic and international public transportation and analyzed the problems of public transport in Xi'an.Then, the author proposed bus route model, planed out the initial Xi'an Link bus net, the vehicle configuration, the special bus way, signal controlling and vehicle scheduling.And analysed with an example. It has a theoretical significance.Last, proposed a reform of public transport, change management model, and take the way of public transportation enterprise groups. And proposed financial subsidies to bus companies. All of them are very important for the development of the public transport in Xi'an.
