In recent years, rapid economic development on the development of China's power industry has put forward higher requirements: to provide more power, with higher reliability, smaller line loss, longer life, less maintenance and so on. in response to these requests, the state of the power plant implementation of"West to East"and"Guantingbingzhuan"and other measure to resolve the contradiction between supply and demand on the grid for"City Network Rural reform", and further optimize network structure, reduce line loss, in the implementation of substation distribution network automation system, improve reliability, and thus achieve unattended. one very important aspect of the switch cabinet to monitor the status of traditional switchgear with modern electronic technology combined with the intelligent switch cabinet came into being, which on the hand traditional switchgear to meet the basic functional requirements, and the other regard to the introduction of microelectronic technology cabinet, so there is self, self-control and self-diagnostic features to meet the needs of distribution managements system. Some high-tech.such as sensor technology,microelectronics,computer technology and the rapid development of information technology and its success in various industrial applications, intelligent switchgear to the development and application possible.Distribution Transformer Terminal article the main design goals are: real-time acquisition of the analog distribution system operation and status volume, quires high precision, high accuracy; reception center station inquire command, the geophysicists have reported the main points; can automatically detect and the distribution transformer fault indentification,if unusual, immediately to the center stations in Alert messages and measurements at the same time, according to central station command and control of external switch device; monitoring device itself has a fault self-test and self-recovery functions; to ensure the reliability of the terminal work to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements.The main content of this paper includes:First, the traditional domestic and foreign advanced intelligent switchgear for a systematic analysis and comparison, that the existence of two different advantages and disadvantages, and the traditional switchboard domestic reform ideas proposed intelligent system is presented design.Secondly, the analysis of the distribution terminal condition monitoring system hardware designs.
