Based on parts casting raft slab of CPR1000 cast takes a lot of time. Crack usually presents itself on the concrete ,leading to take much time to deal with crack.With the rapid development of nuclear power, owner ask to reduce construct period .In this paper, a way that increasing cast concrete one time to reduce time is a key path.Firstly, concrete thermal stress, including inside temperature and outside temperature and rate of temperature fall is acquired based on ANSYS. In the final analysis, mass casting will not make crack. Secondly, other factors are studied on it .It is mass casting that will control crack. Thirdly thorough building plan constitute and stringent quality of control are constituted. What's more, temperature and strain are measured so as to adjust casting concrete plan timely and avoid crack.HONGYANHE phase 2 casting concrete is taken as a case study in this paper. Its diameter is 40m, and thickness is 3m ,which is the biggest mass concrete constructed in China. Using the method of mass casting, it reduced 20 days compared to former casting way. No visible crack on concrete surface.Based on theoretic analysis mass casting on the nuclear power station reactor building is used. The research provide a good way to control crack and concrete durability and save much time .It will provide reliable technical acid and abundant experience for the nuclear power station construction. For the future, the great economy benefit will appear in the building of the nuclear power station.
