The frequency of the injected AC signal used in this study is 60 Hz. Compared with the injected S signal technique, this method is called low frequency AC signal injection method. The study of this paper made the following key findings and conclusions:1. Exchange the AC positioning methods from experience to theory by the first time.2. The low-frequency AC positioning method is firstly proposed and is implemented.3. The detector use microcontroller C8051F310, which is the more advanced microcontroller.4. Data show uses LCD module in order to save battery power and the interface of display and microcontroller is serial communication interface.The proposed technique allows the ground detecting and is convenient for engineers'operation., the locating fault efficiency is improved and the validity of this method is proved by experiment.
