The power system vulnerability is closely related with its own structure and external disturbances, and it has very important significance to assess the vulnerability of power system in order to provide a theoretical basis for formulating correct response. In this paper, the power system vulnerability assessment was carried out from static, transient and dynamic three aspects. The static voltage stability limit was calculated by the use of load admittance model algorithm, and the sensitivity indicator was used to assess the power system static vulnerability. Starting from the power line fault that may occur, the trajectory sensitivity of the system bus voltage to the power change of the generators acceleration group was calculated, and then this article introduced the voltage instability indicator as weights to obtain the comprehensive sensitivity indicator to assess the power system transient vulnerability. Considering the various dynamic elements play an important role in the security and stability of power system, the influence of the original motivation and its governor stabilizing on the system stability was taken into account for further assessment of the system dynamics vulnerability, and more accurate and comprehensive assessment results have been obtained.
