Steel Reinforce Concrete (SRC) special-shaped column could be defined as the combo of special-shaped column and SRC structure. It is configured by placing certain amount of profiled bars, steel bars as well as stirrups synchronously in it to assure the co-working of steel and concrete. This is beneficial to make full use of those characteristics brought by these two materials, such as the higher tensile strength, better plasticity of steels and the higher compressive strength of concrete. Upon this foundation, structural system built up by SRC special-shaped columns could achieve better performance in resisting seismic and other external loads. Simultaneously, for the purpose to avoid the space-reduction caused by column ridge, the further application of SRC special-shaped column is estimated to be more prosperous.By combining the node-configuration of ordinary profiled bar concrete and RC special-shaped concrete, this paper attempts to give further introduction and conclusion on various types of SRC special-shaped column nodes. Further, by carrying out experimental study on 17 SRC special-shaped column nodes, the rationality of different types of these nodes in resisting external loads will be tested. In the mean time, by analyzing the bearing condition of joint members in the entire structural system, the mathematic equations will be given out for the calculation of the bearing condition in node boards, welding lines and coupling bolts respectively. In addition, these equations will be tested by actual experimental samples. Furthermore, when specializing in the torsion effects under external loading caused by cyclic seismic action on wing edges of T-shaped and L-shaped nodes, this paper will try to conclude appropriate configuration measures. Finally, in order to put forward suitable bearing equations for SRC special-shaped column nodes, this paper will, in associate with the experimental study, analyze the anti-shear mechanism and try to deduce the anti-crack as well as anti-shear bearing equations for both L-shaped and cross-shaped nodes.Any required results in this paper are believed to be helpful for the fulfillment of previous study in Steel-Concrete Compounding Structure. They are, in the same time, especially profound for the actual application and theoretical research in SRC special-shaped concrete nodes in the future.
