As the complication of the urban activities and the integration of the urban land space utilization, the service function has been changed in a unit region. Correspondently the attracted travel has been also diverted. On the other hand, due to the complementarities of different land using types for the comprehensive developed blocks, the attracted parking demand time for each type of land using is different. Therefore, a trip parking demand could complete more than one purpose, and travel only produces one parking demand. The complement of comprehensive development of land form, also can avoid concentrated parking demand at the same time, and the idle parking land resources reduce.However, for the past years, parking demand of single category has often been considered as an only essential factor on determining parking scale of comprehensive developing projects while researching on parking demanding. Single indexes are often calculated simply on the base of demand of single category. The peak hour parking demand is overlaid simply or combined after a certain reduction on experience. This method has ignored the different characters of various land using types and the discrepancy of development of different regions in the city.By the absorption of SPAT (Shared Parking Analysis Theory) used in developed countries, the pertinence researches on parking scales of domestic comprehensive developed blocks were made in this paper. The main work is reflected in:1.By analyzing the initial elements of sharing parking behavior, this thesis has proposed a sharing parking behavior modeling method based on survey and the corresponding survey programs was proposed. The model fully takes into account the time space sharing and location factors of the parking demand in comprehensive developed blocks, which can eliminate the traditional method's defect and improve the application of the existing sharing parking analysis theory combining with national condition.2.The sharing parking demand forecasting model and its solution were established for the determination of parking scale comprehensive developed blocks, and the corresponding engineering tools and management approaches were presented. Those measures support can provide strong support for refined and personalized planning of domestic comprehensive developed blocks parking scale. In addition, by investigation and analysis on the parking generation rates of each typical land in different time periods in the city of Chengdu, this thesis puts up a lot of empirical analysis on comparative calculation of parking demand in comprehensive developed blocks as "Chengdu Pearl River New Town" with SPAT, which verify correctness and feasibility of SPAT and its application. |
