With the rapid development of the Uburn Rail Trainsit, The contradiction between the exsiting line transport capacity and the needs become increasingly prominent. The research on improving the line capacity become more and more important. One important way to improve the line transport capacity is to improve the train frequency. While, the turn-back ability has become a hinderance in compressing departing interval. Optimize the station turn-back capacity to improve the line transport capacity and to ease the pressure of line has great significance.The article first introduces the method of the different station-type selection, analyzes the method of selecting station type baced on station turn-back ability, and makes a research on station layout method. Then, make the most common station-type—Double Crossover line as an example, proposed analytical method on calculating the station turn-back ability.And set up optimal model,analyze how entering speed,turnout limited speed,dewell time to influence the turn-back ablity,then,propose the measure to optimize turn-back ability. At the end of the aticle, make the Wuluju stantion of Beijing metro line 6 for example, propose the measure to improve the turn-back ability of Wuluju stantion.
