Superheater is one of the important equipments in the power station boiler, and it is meaningful to calculate its tube wall temperature. In view of overtemperature and tube explosion phenomena, this paper carried out a numerical simulation under the rated load using FLUENT software, and took a boiler of SG2028/17.5-M9090 for example. The simulation tried to change the method of ignoring platen superheater in the previous similar studies. Aiming at getting the temperature and velocity distribution, the superheater was treated as a heat source, dealt with special structure, set as the wall boundary condition, and also the false diffusion was taken into account in the burner region. On this basis, three-dimensional calculation about the tube temperature of platen superheater was made by means of Matlab software, finding out the highest parts of the wall temperature as the monitoring points.
