The research on power system black-start after blackout is an important subject for ensuring the rapid restoration of power systems. According to the practice of the black-start in Hebei Southern Power Grid, the thesis presents the study on problems of over-voltage, self-excitation, the stabilization of voltage and frequency when large-capacity auxiliary load is started, and the stability of frequency oscillation during the parallel operation of the pumped-storage unit and the thermal generator. Based on MATLAB/Simulink, the detailed actual system simulation models of three black-start schemes are established and the simulation calculation is carried out. The simulation results verify the feasibility of black-start schemes of the Hebei Southern Power Grid. The research results are very useful for making the black-start schemes of the Hebei Southern Power Grid.
