| Black-start is the process of the system restoration after blackout of the entire power system. Making feasible black-start restoration plans is very important for the rapid restoration of the power system. The black-start process includes the restart of generators, energization of no-load (or light load) lines and load restoration. So making and taking the black-start plans involves many problems of power systems. The over-voltage problem during black-start is one of them. This problem is investigated in this thesis, and the probability models used for over-voltage computation is built based on Monte Carlo simulation. A computer program using the Bergeron model is developed for computation and statistical evaluation of the over-voltages in black-start. The Over-voltage in energization of transmission lines are calculated and statistically analyzed, and the results are compared to that of EMTP. The program will be used for over-voltage evaluation to assist the black-start plan making. |
