On the basis of national interconnected network, the real time power system dynamic monitoring system of the South Hebei Power Grid under the wide area measurement system (WAMS) has been developed by means of the synchronous phasor measurement technology, which combines the demand of the intelligent electric grid construction. The real-time measurement of the electrical parameters in the wide-area distributed power system can be made in this system, which bright prospects for the safety analysis and stability control of the large power systems. The result of field operation shows, the system has high practical value in many respects as following: power systems stability analysis, dynamic process record and post hoc analysis, the identification and correction of power system dynamic model, the prediction and control of power system transient stability, the monitoring and control of the stability of voltage and frequency, the analysis and control of low frequency oscillations, the ancillary service market monitoring and so on. As the analysis means being improved through the technical support of this system, the intensity of labour of the professional staff has been reduced, so that a more effective and scientific management can be achieved in the corporation. |
