As some domestic environmental enterprises gradually increase investment and research effort, some new kinds of MSW compression equipments come into being. More and more fierce market competitions are forceing the enterprises to improve the efficiency of product development further and reduce the costs to enhance the competitiveness under the premise of guaranteeing the quality.With practical enterprise technical transformation project as a starting point, this paper focuses on the study of lifting mechanism which is the key component of MSW compacting refuse transfer station. The main aspects of work in this paper are carried out as follows:1. Based on in-depth analysis of lifting mechanism basic structure characteristics, the model is simplified and it's movement principle is analyzed. Then the kinematics model is established, the lifting cylinder piston movement and the load platform vertical and horizontal movement are studied, as to establish the kinematics formula and relation curves and program computer applications. The lifting mechanism kinematics simulation is done by SolidWorks Motion software. The kinematic analysis correctness is carried out with experiment data.2. The formula between thrust of single lifting cylinder and load is derived from principle of virtual work and compared with the measured data to verify it's correctness. The force analysis of the lifting mechanism bottom layer scissors rod group is done, the Excle solving template is established to calculate the force values of some critical hinge points under different working condition, the strength of the scissors rods and shaft pins are checked under the most dangerous condition. The parameters of lifting cylinders installation location are optimized by MATLAB software, which obtains a much better result. The biggest thrust of the lifting cylinders is decreased by 15.6% after optimization.3. The simplified and finite element models of the lifting mechanism scissors rod are estabulished, the SolidWorks Simulation software is used to deal with finite element analysis to obtain the stress distribution which is consistent with the theoretical results. Based on the scissors rod finite element analysis, the optimal design mathematical model is created to realize the lightweight design. The optimal model objective function is minimum quality, the design variables are cross-section parameters, the constraint condition is the maximum stress constraint. Besides, the weight of the simplified scissors rod is descread by 28.16% and remarkable effect is achieved.The research work in this paper will be conducive to the optimal design and quality improvement on lifting mechanism of MSW compacting refuse transfer station.
