Due to the raise of the rank of highway, the quantity of bridge and tunnel linked segments in the mountain area of our country is gradually increasing and the scale is also increasing, but the research of bridge and tunnel linked segments technology is little. It's highly in need of doing research in linked pattern, the design and optimization of construction of linked segment, taking precautions against and deal with the geologic hazard, the security of the segment in motion, etc. Relying on the bridge and tunnel linked segment instances in Shiman highway, from the aspects of engineering geology, structure analysis, construction and security in motion, it's proofed that the feasibility and rationality of the proposal of bridge and tunnel linked segment in mountain highway, for guaranteeing its security and determinate reference.By means of the theoretical analysis of the segment structure and the structure finite element computational analysis, it's researched that the interaction relationship in mechanical property, construction technology, geology security and determined that the main attentive problems in design and construction of the segment, providing determinate reference for the formulation of the bridge and tunnel technology standards.By mean of finite element analysis software MIDAS/GTS, for the monolithic bridge and tunnel linked segment, it's computed that the force, stress and displacement of all kinds of tunnel structures in different working conditions and computational sections. The result data is contrastively analyzed and the biggish varying sections and data is listed out, to cause the design and construction crew's attention. The excavation of the monolithic bridge and tunnel linked segment causes a little hole effect, which firstly influences the bridge abutment area and secondly influences adjacent area; because of the excavation of the abutment, the stress of wall rock further releases and the loads on supporting structure universally increase.For stalk tunnel, the force variance ratio of waist of side wall is also biggish.And also it's researched that the characteristic of the segment in design and construction, the construction methods of tunnel portal in ill geology conditions and the matters needing attention when bridge and tunnel linked, the basic steps and difficulties in bridge abutment construction and bridge abutment construction under bridge and tunnel linked, the construction technology of the short linked roadbed by the instance of Shiman highway, variety of construction methods and the settlement of box girder, summarizing variety of design and construction details, including the existing and may happening, under bridge and tunnel linked, etc.And also it's investigated that the current situation and restraining factors of the security of bridge and tunnel linked project in motion. The suggestion in motion security is proposed, the accident in motion is classified and the rescue system up to date technology is put forward.
