The Linked Column Frame system(LCFs)is a new type of steel frame structure being developed with the goals of rapid to return occupancy via replacement of links.The object of study in this paper is LCF substructure.The carrying ability,stiffness degradation and hysteretic of energy of LCF substructure were investigated by finite analysis software ABAQUS.These results of investigation can provide some reference for further study of LCF.The main works of this paper are as follows:(1)Referencing the national regulation and related literature,SAP2000 was utilized to design a 2-span and 6-story LCF which meet conditions of the reasonable yielding order.The third story be with the upper and lower half story was chosen to be the BASE specimen.(2)The finite element analysis software of ABAQUS was utilized to establish the solid element model of LCF substructure.Establishing the finite element model which has made experimental study and compare the results of them to validate the correctness and feasibility of the modeling method.(3)The solid element model of 6 stories LCF was established and carried out the dynamic cyclic test.The result of the analysis compared with the BASE specimen,which shows that the LCF substructure can response the loading features and seismic performance of multilayer LCF.(4)Some parameters of the LCF substructure,such as the length of links,span,floor height and the steel grades were analyzed.In addition,the influence of these parameters on the LCF substructure was investigated.The result shows that the linked column system dissipated most energy and protected the moment frames very well before the interlayer displacement angel reached 1/50rad;the high of floor and the steel grades have more remarkable influences on stiffness and carrying ability of structures than the length of links and span of structures.(5)The skeleton curves of linked column frame structure is simplified to trilinear by equal energy theory,and verify the applicability and feasibility of the simplified method by the finite element computing results of parameters such as the length of link,the span of beam,the floor hight of structure and strength classes of structural steel.Considering the effect of the above parameters,the reasonable range of replacement of linked column frame system is given as 0.0032~0.0120 rad.
