Study On Present Comprehensive Evaluation And Master Planning Of Urban Green Space System In Xilinhot

Compared with other fundamental facilities, urban green spaces, as the vital supporting space of urban ecological system, play a non-substitutable role in protecting and restoring urban green environment, maintaining urban ecological balance and improving the quality of ecological condition. Due to the hysteretic nature of traditional green spaces construction, green spaces planning in China is very weak. People from leaders, planners to the citizens have little knowledge about green spaces system and seldom take it into consideration. What's more, with the imperfection of the index system which only lays importance on the ratio of green space, percentage of greenery coverage and index of public green spaces can neither reflect the green spaces issue in an urban nor the abstract coupling between the space structure and function of the green spaces system of the whole urban.Xilinhot is not only a vital livestock breeding producing basis but also the most direct green ecological shelter in the northern china. Over the years with great changes and development taken place in Xilinhot, a series of ecological problems also come out at the same time. As a developing rescores-based urban area, a scientific urban green spaces program should be established as soon as possible so that to maintain the sustainable development.16 targets are selected in this article to help make up an evaluation system of green spaces in Xilinhot. With the support of the targets, we made a thorough evaluation within its build-up areas which was created in 2008, however, ended with a low level evaluation result regarding the establishment of green spaces system in Xilinhot. By making an analysis regarding to both the single and integral indexes, an urban green spaces planning has been created, lasting from 2008 to 2020, provides a scientific basis for decision makers on the one hand and on the other hand will have a significant influence for the future sustainable development and the construction of regional ecological environment in Xilinhot.
