In this paper, the static analysis, modal analysis, seismic accelerate response spectrum analysis and elastic dynamic time-history analysis of RC frame teaching building are perfomed by using the FEA software of ANSYS.The proposed building is designed to the reinforced concrete frame structure, including two six-story teaching buildings. In the Wenchuan earthquake, a anti-seismic capacity of construction is relatively low,which are demonstrated prominently in the middle school and the elementary school building. Government at all levels have adpoted a series of policies and legislations to enhancing a anti-seismic capacity in the middle school and the elementary school building. In order to achieve the purpose of improving a anti-seismic capacity, this article adopts the unique anti-seismic design method, in which earthquake fortification intensity is enhanced 1 degree by compared to the anti-seismic compulsory standard. Above this, it means reference value for the analysis of the same type structures.This paper is consisted of several parts shown as following. 1.Taking use of the APDL(ANSYS Parametric Design Language)in ANSYS, this article develop the special parametric program for the model building and the solution, which settles firm base for the intensive study of the response mehtod and the optimization design of the structute.2.After the model analysis of modal,we derived the selfsustained oscillation character and the main modes of stucture.3. About how to determined the reasonable mode number in mode-superposition method, we obtained the result in this paper.4. After the seismic accelerate response spectrum analysis, we derived the anti-seismic character of structure.5. In the elastic time-history analysis, the response of structure under the contribution of the EI seismic wave is larger than that of the artificial seismic wave or the TAFT seismic wave. Except this, we found that the average results of structure under three seismic wave are dower with the results of spectrum analysis.
