As the economy progresses, people adjust for higher living standards. Nowadays, the public no longer focuses solely on the basic living function, but appreciates more on the spaces inside and out. However, especially in the northern part of China, there are still significant expected improvements on the outer spaces designs, mostly due to the lack of integrated designs. The article will start with some particular theories and cases, and then combine with some real projects from the author, to arrive at a comparably comprehensive design model for the living outer spaces in the northern China regions.The paper will begin in the existing theory and the actual case, through to the theory analysis and the case research, how to propose north a set suits the urban community outdoor space environment "the integrated design" the pattern and the method carry on initially search, namely from the spatial arrangement, the outdoor functionality space, the node space, "the soft contact surface" spatial and spatial plot several aspects obtains to reorganize the corresponding processing measure one by another.
