Heshi dagoba in Famen temple,147 meters high,using steel-concrete hydrid structure.The exterior style of the dagoba likes two palms together,and the building belong to complex high-rise connected twin-tower structure.Firstly,The paper introduced the structures of the heshi dagoba in Famen temple.In order to research the advantage and weakness of the structure,this paper compared two regular structures to heshi dagoba,analysed the difference of displacement of the three structures by horizontal force and vertical force,and found heshi dagoba has less favorable behavior than conventional structure under horizontal force and vertical force.Especially under the vertical force,the change of displacement of heshi dagoba was very obvious.So we should take the vertical seismic acceleration into account when analyse seismic response of the structure.Second, the paper used large general finite element software ANSYS, established structure model similar to practice,and executed modal analysis of the structure to research its period and frequency,and researched the torsional stiffness of the structure. According to the vibration form of the structure,found out the direction of weaker stiffness,and determined this direction to the main control direction.Thirdly, the paper carried out elastic time-history analysis of the structure. Given the complexity of the structure, the result of time-history analysis may be influenced by several parameters that should be adequately considered. The paper analyzed the following primary parameters:earthquake wave dimension and shape,damping ratio,and gained vertical displacement was very large when change earthquake wave dimension,and the vertical displacement was maximum when input three-dimensional earthquake wave.Therefore,for the seismic analysis analysis,expecially the complex structure,it is best to consider three-dimensional earthquake wave input. According to the structure's seismic performance analysis results,gained the layout of the structure is reasonable from the overall seismic performance of the structure.Finally,the paper decided the regularity of plane,vertical and shape of the heshi dagoba according to the data of FEM analysis.Finally, the paper carried out plastic time-history analysis of the structure,set up constitutive relationship of the steel and concrete,calculated the inter-story drift and inter-story drift angle under seismic performance,and compared with the data of shake-table test,and verification the rationality of the constitutive relationship of steel and concrete.Then,the paper evaluated the anti-seismic performance of the structure under basic and rare earthquake intensity.
