Study On Pile-group Foundation Settlement In Loess Plateau Of Xi'an

As the social development of our country and the improvement of urbanization, more and more highrise building were built, for most of which pile foundation applied, the settlement calculation and control was a key point in the pile foundation design. In the paper, research on pile foundation settlement in Xi'an was conducted, value in settlement theory and engineering practice is expected.Base on the analysis of bearing load features, mechanism of pile foundation settlement and merit, demerit, applicability of calculation method were discussed; The different computed result from calculation methods of pile foundation settlement was analyzed and influencing factors on settlement were discussed. Besides, considering the feature of pile foundation work in Xi'an and matter in calculation procedure of pile foundation settlement, research on pile foundation settlement in Xi'an and settlement calculation were done, specifically, analysis and calculation of group piles were gotten by applying the infinite software plaxis, at last, the results from plaxis and calculation theory were compared, effect by choosing different soil model and calculation parameters were analyzed, based on the calculation result and group piles settlement rule, some suggested conclusions were gotten.
