With the increased of automobile demand number , energy crisis and environmental deterioration are two major problems over the world.More and more people pay attention to Electric Vehicle (EV). All of the world devot large number of manpower and material resources, to study ona new technology of automotive industry, wllich having characterislics of low pollution and low fuel consumption, and it has obtained the rich fruit. Under the huge pressure , China, as the great utomobile nation, researches and develops the proprietary intellectual property rights the energy conservation automobile to be urgent.Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV)combines the advantages of conventional engine-driven vehicle and pure Electric Vehicle.And combining their strongpoint, can lead to significant improvements in vehicle performance , energy utilization efficiency,and polluting emissions. Motor and Electrical drive control system with high peak powerand quick power response, as the main power Source of HEVs,will results in high vehicle performance,So the deep research on key technologies of the motor and Electrical drive system has significant meaning.Power Devices is the most important material base of Electric Vehicle's motor control technology, and it has rapid development. How to choose the appropriate parts of an apparatus to adapts for the different electricity driving system to gain more power of power convertor, is the question which is worth to study. This article presemts the statements of states the designing principle and approaches of IGBT drive circuits. and researches in the IGBT protection etc. For the IGBT drive circuit and protection circuit requirements, based on the project is designed based on motor parameters using Infineon's automotive-grade opto isolated 1ED020112-FA design a chip with over-current, over voltage, isolation and other features IGBT driver protection circuit .In motor control, this design uses to TI's high-speed digital signal processor chips DSPTMS320LF2407 as the core CPU, around the DSP chip design in various sub-circuit modules, through the software by Altium Designe complete PCB design, drawing, hardware assembly, testing, etc. Support was given by the expected experimental results.This paper based on researching and designing of the hybrid electric vehicle motor drive control system and development to lay a certain foundation on hybrid electric vehicle research. However, due to time and experimental conditions, this paper further studies to be improved, such as hybrid electric vehicles for the specific operating conditions, motor drive control system, further performance testing; the corresponding performance for system testing, to the control system provide a more effective implementation of experimental data.
