Hybrid electric vehicles have the characteristics of large cruising range and energy saving and environmental protection, and have become the most widely used car model at present. They are superior to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles in energy saving and emission reduction, and are superior to pure electric vehicles in cruising range. This paper takes plug-in parallel hybrid electric vehicle as an example to study the dynamic energy management strategy and in-loop simulation of vehicle controller based on this model.Based on the operating parameters of the plug-in parallel hybrid power system and the vehicle,a hybrid power system model was established under the MATLAB/Simulink environment, combined with the experimental model and the theoretical model. The energy management control strategy based on engine optimal torque was adopted in order to improve the fuel economy of the vehicle. In order to cope with the mutual cooperation problem of parallel hybrid electric vehicles in working mode switching,a torque coordination control strategy based on “engine dynamic torque control + power battery SOC intervention + motor compensation control” was proposed.Establish a vehicle energy management control strategy on the MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow platform to control the engine to work within a high efficiency range so that the engine can output the best torque. This paper builds a real-time simulation platform of rapid control prototype system and hardware-in-the-loop system based on dSPACE.The rapid prototyping system uses the automatic code generation technology in MATLAB / Simulink to compile the control strategy into *.sdf files, and then uses ControlDesk to download it to the rapid control prototype controller hardware MicroAutoBox to verify and analyze the control strategy. The hardware-in-the-loop system uses the real-time processor SCALEXIO to simulate the actual controlled object to test the control strategy and verify the functionality and effectiveness of the control strategy. In this paper,a real-time simulation platform based on dSPACE is used to conduct a hardware-in-the-loop simulation test of the vehicle control strategy. The test content includes dynamic test and control strategy real-time and functional test.Simulation results show that the control strategy has good real-time performance and functionality.
