In this paper, on the base of safely, timely and accurately understanding and anglicizing the working characteristics of silicon carbide non-linear and on the view of changes, improve de-excitation system operation and maintenance level. For the purpose of accident prevention, closely connecting with the practical engineering application, deeply study the online monitoring system of a silicon carbide non-linear resistance de-excitation device. According to safety requirement, operation mode and structure features for the silicon carbide non-linear resistance de-excitation, develop the system overall program. Specifically design an infrared temperature sensor array and develop a new method to solve the problems of valve piece temperature measurements. Prepare a specify intelligent data acquisition device, also develop an background data processing and analysis software for the de-excitation parameters calculation, and silicon carbide non-linear resistors flow equalization characteristics, energy equalization properties, volt-ampere characteristics, temperature rising characteristics. Based on 150MW unit of Baishan power plant in the Northeast Grid, we have completed the online monitoring system for field test study, and testified the validity and effectiveness of on-line monitoring methods in actual running system.
