Evaluation And Software System Research On Container Ship In Xijiang

Xijiang's runoff is second to Yangtze River which is the largest natural river in the south of China and known as the "Golden Waterway" reputation. The middle and upper reaches of the Xijiang distribute Zhaoqing, Wuzhou, Guigang, Nanning, Liuzhou and other major ports. With the development of Xijiang drainage area economy, the great need for Xijiang container transport is appeared which has a strong development potential. In accordance with the long-term development plan for the Xijiang and the standardization of the Xijiang container ship, this paper is about the research of evaluation for a new generation of Xijiang container ship based on the original data of container ship including operating, shipbuilding and other aspects.Chapter one of this paper introduces the development of technical and economic evaluation for ship type, discusses the necessity and significance of research on Xijiang ship type, explains the main work of this paper briefly; Chapter two presents the status of Xijiang transportation; Chapter three describes the principles of technical and economic evaluation; Chapter four introduces two methods of the technical and economic evaluation for the ship, which provide a theoretical basis for the ship sort; Chapter five proposes the ideology of Xijiang container ship type evaluation, the best ship plans which are suitable for the typical routes are achieved by subsection of routes and tonnages method; Chapter six illustrates the software system of evaluation for container Ship in Xijiang using Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic. Finally, this paper summarizes the full task and proposes the forecast. The methods and the results of evaluation for Xijiang container ship can provide reference to the container ship standardization and the engagement of a new generation of Xijiang container ship development plan.
