| Operating mechanism is an important part of circuit breaker. It should not only make sure the reliability of circuit breaker over a long period of time, but also meet the requirement that arc extinguishing characteristic to the operating mechanism. Permanent magnetic (PM) actuator is a new generation vacuum circuit breaker mechanism. It obtains general attention because of its less components, high reliability, non maintenance, and power feature match well with reaction feature. These are advantages traditional mechanism can not reach.The design and simulation of PM actuator in Circuit breaker were mainly studied in this paper. First, the development and the applications status at home and abroad were introduced, and the application prospect of PM actuator was analyzed. PM actuator was designed, and the design formula was analyzed. The control circuit design proposal of PM actuator was also given. On the basis of designing, the design and analysis software for PM actuator was developed by using VB programming language. This software has the advantages of easy to operate, multiple functional, better human-computer interaction. It can automatically design the PM actuator structural parameters, draw machine elements and assembly diagram for varying parameters, and control electronic circuits.Then, a 12kV outdoor vacuum circuit breaker was designed using this software. The finite element software Ansoft was used to create the model of PM actuator, and the static and dynamic characteristics simulation were carried out to the model. Motion characteristic of vacuum circuit breaker's moving contact was also determined.In addition, because of the characteristics that electromagnetic repulsion mechanism can drive load moving rapidly, electromagnetic repulsion mechanism was paid much attention by people in the facet of studying of fast transfer switch. So, electromagnetic repulsion mechanism was studied in depth in this paper. In this paper, through the analysis to the theory of electromagnetic repulsion mechanism, electromagnetic repulsion mechanism with PM maintaining device was proposed. It was also designed and simulated. On this basis, the main factors that affect the dynamic characteristics of electromagnetic repulsion mechanism were further studied, and the law that the factors that affect on the repulsion force value and its acting time were determined. It provides a theoretical basis for the design of such type of organizations. |
