Axial piston pump, the most important component in hydraulic systems, is widely used in all kinds of industrial and mobile machinery and directly affects their performance. Because of the hydraulic industry started late in China, the high-performance axial piston pump couldn't meet the demand of industrial and mobile machinery. At present, following the national guide of revitalizing the equipment manufacturing industry, developing high-performance axial piston pump is becoming a hotpot all over the country. However, in order to successfully develop the axial piston pump with excellent performance, an advanced performance test system is required. Ensuring the generality of this test system, taken the double axial piston pump, which is widely used in mobile machinery, as the test object, a high-pressure axial piston pump performance test system was designed in this thesis. By analyzing the test results of an axial piston pump, a conclusion was deduced that, this high-pressure axial piston pump performance test system had met the requirements of the test standard, and comprehensive and accurate performance evaluation of axial piston pumps could be accomplished on it.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:In chapter 1, firstly, current research progresses on pump performance test system were reviewed all over the world. Secondly, the performance test standard, principal, structure and control mode of axial piston pump were investigated. Then, the main research subjects and significance of the study in the thesis were presented and discussed.In chapter 2, firstly, the specifications of this high-pressure axial piston pump performance test hydraulic system were calculated according to the specifications of the double axial piston pump. Secondly, detailed academic calculation and principal design on the key modules of the hydraulic system were carried out. Then, the systematic principal design of the hydraulic system was completed.In chapter 3, firstly, based on the modularization, the overall arrangement of the high-pressure axial piston pump performance test hydraulic system was designed. Then, the detailed arrangement of every part, as well as the detailed structure of some key components was completed, and the rationality of the structure design was confirmed based on the Finite Element Analysis of the key components. In chapter 4, through a comprehensive performance testing of an axial piston pump to verify the capabilities of the high-pressure axial piston pump performance test system. Firstly, academic calculation was carried out in order to prove the feasibility of the single pump loading method, which is used in the performance testing process of the axial piston pump. Secondly, the performance testing results of the axial piston pump was analyzed particularly. At last, a conclusion is confirmed that this high-pressure axial piston pump performance test system is up to the requirements of axial piston pump performance test standard, and comprehensive and accurate performance evaluation of axial piston pumps could be accomplished on it.In chapter 5, major research in this thesis was summarized, future research proposals were suggested.
